49ers Fancast #85 – Act Like Ya Been There
The 49ers trounced Buffalo, as they should have. If you’re going to be an elite team, you have to thrash the bad ones, as they have the last two weeks. I’m by myself this week as Shaun is busy being a California Real Estate mogul. Seriously. Also looking forward to beating… er… meeting the Giants this week.

This whole week I just feel more and more that the Giants are no where near as good as they were last year in the playoffs or years before. The only wins they have are against terrible teams and their losses are against the Cowboys and Eagles, two average teams at best. I don’t want to take any team for granted but I think the 49ers will once again cover the spread this week.

Aloha Jim,
You should have called me. I’d be happy to stand in for Shawn.

hello Jim. I’m enjoying the weekly podcasts and look forward to next week’s episode if you make one. The game is being shown live in the UK tonight, starting at 9:30pm, and I’m full of expectation although not too confident.
I would be interested to hear your comments on next season’s game at Wembley against the Jaguars. I will be there, as I was against the Broncos 2 years ago. It was a bad game for the first 3 quarters and then Troy Smith went to work and made the experience a whole lot better. (what happened to him)?
My opinion is that the crowd is not partisan enough, you will find NFL fans from everywhere, supporting every team in the League and they don’t really care who wins. One day I will go to a game in the USA and want to hear how loud a home team can be.

We have much to discuss after today’s game. Wow.

That was an old fashioned butt whipping by the Giants. Alex Smith 3 int’s, only 3 measily points at home. One week, we live like kings, the next, live like paupers. Alex Smith needs to prove that he can beat the NY Giants. They seem to have his number.
Side note…..I’m not calling for Kap’s number yet, but I’ll be sure glad when he takes over in 2-3 years from now. A lil birdy told me (Twitter)…..Jacobs after the game was high-fiving and hugging his ex teammates in their locker room.
