- Patrick Willis was a good player since he came into the league, but he might be the best defensive player in the NFL right now. He is now establishing himself as a guy who will get that turnover for this 7th-ranked defense.
- Offensively, the 49ers only beat the Rams 14-0. It was the Defense and Special Teams that made this a blowout. That, and the fact that the Rams are terrible. The 49ers offense was putrid for the entire first half. Vernon Davis continues to step up in the passing game. If it weren’t for Morgan’s drop of a beautifully thrown Hill deep ball, the offense would have looked much better.
- Shaun Hill is the luckiest man alive. Somehow, no defense has been able to stop him when it matters. His money play is that jump ball to Davis in the middle of the end zone. His TD to Morgan was probably the ugliest ball I’ve ever seen him throw, and that’s saying something. The man makes me nervous, but there is some kind of magic in those fingers. Someone check with Satan on recent sales of souls….

Hill has the kind of luck any quarterback would love to have — he’s 8 – 4 as a starter since last year.

Fantastic Game. That O-Line did not perform that well today though. Hill did not have much time to throw. The way that the rest of the division is playing right now, this is ours to lose.

Is he 8-4? or is Mike Singletary 8-4?

I think Singletary has one more game as head coach than Hill has as starting quarterback.

He only has one half more game. Hill came in just before halftime of the Seattle game in ‘08.
